Our Approach to Substitutions
To maintain quality, accuracy, and a stress-free experience, MID-SERV Solutions LLC does not use open-ended substitutions.
We believe grocery decisions are personal. Rather than guessing, we follow customer-approved substitution preferences to ensure your order is handled exactly the way you expect.
Your Substitutions
For each item: Max of 4 substitutions allowed.

Exact Backup Item
Select a specific replacement in advance to add to our fillable form.

Price Limit Rule
Substitutions must be comparable in price to original item.

Skip Item if Unavailable
If the item is out of stock and no substitution available, it will be skipped. You will be refunded.
Live Video Chat Request Rules
You may request a live video chat from the shopper to approve your substitutions.
1. Customer must make request when placing order and provide their cell number. Video chats will not take
place unless requested in the app.
2. The shopper will initiate the brief video chat to confirm your request when needed-ensuring accuracy without
delaying your or other customers delivery window.
3. Chats are limited to viewing the substitutions you already have in your order only.
4. Asking shoppers to show you other items on your list or search for items that were not on your list is not
allowed. This can put your membership in jeopardy. Shoppers have strict guidelines to follow concerning
video chats.

Video chats are limited to 3 minutes only. Shopper will end the call after 3 mins.

Shoppers will only show you the substitutions. Not the other items on your list. (max 4 substitutions)

If no substitution preference is provided, the out of stock item will be skipped.

Client Responsibility
Customers are responsible for setting substitution preferences at the time of the order on their grocery list. Preferences may be updated at any time prior to the submission of the list and the payment of the grocery order. Once your list is submitted and the groceries are paid for substitutions are not allowed.
